PROFILE
Senior lecturer (Lektor) in Educational Science, teaching at both undergraduate (PGSD/Elementary Education) and master’s (Pedagogy) levels. Author of 368 published articles (107 in the last three years), 24 books, and 16 registered intellectual properties (HAKI) since 2017. Since 2018, long-standing research partner of cultural artist Effendi (“Fendi Sukuraga”) in developing Wayang Sukuraga — a Sukabumi local-wisdom puppetry tradition — into an evidence-based educational method now central to a proposed LEGO Foundation Fellowship study on children’s self-regulation in an AI-enabled world.

RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP WITH EFFENDI (FENDI SUKURAGA)
A sustained, decade-spanning collaboration with Effendi, creator of Wayang Sukuraga and Founder of Rumah Budaya Sukuraga, forms the core of my signature research line:
2018 — Co-presented Wayang Sukuraga at the International Conference on Education (ICEDU), Bangkok, Thailand.
2019–2025 — Co-developed 14 research outputs on Wayang Sukuraga as local-wisdom learning media (9 journal articles, 1 book, 5 HAKI registrations), spanning literacy, character education, and critical thinking.
2021 — Co-authored the book Mengenal Diri Mengoptimasi Kreasi with Effendi and fellow elementary-education faculty.
2024–present — Co-developed the “Sukuraga” Android learning application (with Creacle Studio), extending the method into interactive digital media.
2026 — Jointly proposing “Knowing the Self Before the Screen: Sukuraga Puppetry and Children’s Self-Regulation in an AI-Enabled World” to the LEGO Foundation Fellowship.
Effendi’s Rumah Budaya Sukuraga received the LPPM Partnership Award (Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi) for its continued role guiding undergraduate thesis research — evidence of an active, institutionally recognized partnership, not a newly assembled team.
